In 1977 anarchy in the UK was at an all time high, and after years of garbage strikes, racial injustice, and political corruption, punk rock emerged from the trash with bands like the Sex Pistols and The Clash. Resulting, was a turn away from social politeness and fashion.
I don't know where I am going with this.
But thus a friendship was born.
Julie and Madi met in 1981 at a rally to make clothing illegal. Seeing as this would never happen, they joined the enemy and decided to embrace fashion. Horrible fashion.
Absolutely Fabulous fashion.
actually, we just really dig the show and stuff and um.... wanted to start a new lj based on our lives and obsession with Edina and Patsy.
And so it begins...
